Account Manager / Inside Sales

We are looking for a self-motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Account Manager/Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate and to connect with our insurance customers. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer queries, processing customer policy changes, and providing potential customers with detailed information about our products.

To excel in this role you must be detailed oriented, professional and friendly demeanor, good communication skills, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact between new /exiting customers and various insurance companies.
• Assist customers with general service inquiries regarding policies, payments, claims, billing, etc.
• Process requoting and new customer quotes.
• Present potential new customers with policy information
• Process customer payments and endorsements
• Follow up with insurance companies on behalf of client questions or requests on policies.
• Back up phone coverage for main reception.
• Assists Area Manager with various tasks as needed.

Skills

• Proven customer support experience or experience as an account manager/ client service representative
• Insurance P&C license ( life insurance license a bonus)
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Ability to help educate the customer on various coverages.
• Customer orientated and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
