Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and consultation to PA/NP providers.
- Oversee healthcare services provided in their department.
- Manage clinical staff and ensure adequate continuity of care.
- Represent the department's interests to management and management to the medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal laws, regulations, and standards of practice.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree.
- Current CA state medical license or NP/PA license.
- Completed an accredited residency program.
- Current DEA certificate.
- 3 years of experience in a lead administrative role.
- 5 years of experience as a clinician.
- Board certified in primary care.
- Current CPR certification.
