Job Title: Experienced Family Practice Physician
Location: Banning, CA
The community health center is seeking a collaborative family practice physician to join its primary care team. This role involves providing primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health by performing physical examinations and taking patient history.
- Supervise assigned NP and PA staff on clinical responsibilities.
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results.
- Perform therapeutic procedures, manage wounds and injuries, and educate patients on their treatment plans.
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload.
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy.
- Assist with utilization review, quality assurance, and risk management programs.
Requirements:
- Attended an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree.
- California Medical License.
- Completed an accredited residency program.
- DEA certificate.
- Board certification or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
- BLS certification.
