Position Summary
The Accounting Manager will provide accounting management, accounting analysis, and support to the Finance Department. Typical duties include but are not limited to, reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and preparing activity reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- · Manage the daily operations of the finance department staff and all reporting.
- · Review Provider Network Solutions and Claim Development Corporation Operating Expense Table.
- · Validate all Bank Account Reconciliations.
- · Prepare monthly General Ledger Account Reconciliation.
- · Prepare Month End Closing Provider Network Solutions and Joint Venture Entities
- · Prepare accounting journal entries to support the payroll activities by posting PEO’s payroll files, and payroll fees in Great Plains accounting software.
- · Generate quarterly and year-end closing trial balances and journal entries.
- · Review Provider Network Solutions and TPA monthly payables.
- · Review weekly claims payout.
- · Prepare Department and TPA Budget monthly.
- · Prepare and analyze Financial Dashboards for all Network monthly.
- · Interact with external auditors and provide support for their requests.
- · Analyze Network Fee Schedule and Provider Reimbursement Rates.
- · Assist to prepare the Financials and Budgets for Joint Venture specifically for the three Verticals Musculoskeletal Networks, Dermatology and Claims Development Corporation
- · Support ad hoc analysis as needed for current and new business.
Knowledge
- · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or 4 years of equivalent experience.
- · Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
- · Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.
- · Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- · Experience with Accounting Software preferred.
Skills
- · Advanced Excel skills.
- · Advanced Access Database skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
