Site Project Superintendent, Architectural Millwork (On-Site)
Location: Dallas, Texas – On site once project site is confirmed.

1099 Contractor status requires Business License and proof of Business Liability Insurance ($2M)

Position Overview:
The Site Supervisor (Millwork) assumes responsibility for overseeing and managing construction projects that involve millwork including custom architectural, wood paneling, trim and other specialized wood products as per the needs of the project. As the main point of contact for clients and the General Contractor throughout the project process. This role will work closely in co-ordination with internal project team, subcontractor, trades, direct inter face with customers dealing with issues such as design, quality, scheduling, and clients to ensure smooth project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the Lead on productivity, site control, management issues and monitor the work performance of sub-trades and site employees to ensure work is planned and performed efficiently
- Supervise the installation of millwork products on-site, providing guidance and support as needed for the product to be installed
- Maintain project schedule and assure that project is executed effectively and within budget. Facilitate coordination among various teams to meet project deadlines
- Assure construction compliance with design requirements and oversee procedures to enhance the quality of work. Address any issues related to workmanship or materials
- Ensure project materials and workmanship meet the project Quality Standards
- Initiate and monitor Requests for Information (RFI’s)
- Effectively oversee that all health and Safety guidelines are strictly followed, conduct site inspections and address potential hazards immediately. Foster to create a safe work environment throughout the jobsite and adhere to the safety and record keeping requirements.
- Identify and resolve any on-site work-related problems such as project interferences or schedule difficulties.
- Implement measures for continuous improvement in workflow and project execution.
- Regular communication with clients, architects, internal projects team and other stakeholders on project progress
- Obtain written approvals of all changes in scope of work prior to proceeding with changes from the Project Managers
- Oversee and manage the requisition of materials and supplied necessary for the completion of projects, Ensure availability and timely delivery of required resources
- Review and determine site logistics plan with Project Manager to determine site access and construction parking
- Perform additional assignments as directed by superiors or as required for successful project completion
- Work with, assist and follow directions of Project Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 Years Experience with Custom Architectural millwork projects
- Minimum of 3 Years Experience of site / installation supervision experience in commercial construction
- Educational and experience requirements include a four-year construction related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience within the commercial sector
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to lead and evaluate trade performance is essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential
- Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings and other documents.
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others is a must, job ownership is paramount
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, outlook etc.) and Teams
- Capacity to train and instruct workers in job duties and safety protocols
- Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites
- Ability to multi-task and control multiple activities on site occurring simultaneously.
