Position:
Provisions Health is actively seeking a 1099 Board Certified Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to complete face to face evaluations for our veterans and community members! Add to your current practice or earn extra income while enjoying stories from our local veterans. The scope of this position includes, but not limited to:
- INTENSE charting. Interested applicants must be very comfortable with a significant amount of charting and meet the required deadlines.
- FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING. Please read 'Qualifications' for further description.
- Malpractice Insurance and a supervising physician (provided through Provisions at a small fee, unless you have your own).
- Compensation on a per patient basis. Vary between $75-400. Subject to change depending on complexity of ailment and applicant's license.
- No out-of-pocket expenses.
- Cash-based pay, no insurance collections.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
- Complete a thorough review of medical records on a cloud-based EHR.
- Conduct physical assessments based on specific disability claims.
- Review medical documentation and provide a expert medical opinion in regard to a disability.
- Participate in testimonies via phone conference. (as needed)
- Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim.
- All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.
- If you have your own practice, you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Availability of at least 7 to 8 days a month, and 4 to 8 hours.
- Medically licensed health care professional in state of employment.
- Board Certified
- Proficient in charting
- Superb organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable transportation

- Self-starter
- Computer/Tech savvy
- Ability to work weekends varies per location.
