General Description :
This position is responsible for supervising, coordinating, managing and maintaining the district's internal and external network systems. In addition, this role must provide a high level of customer communication to maintain satisfaction, coordinate support and implementations. There may be a need to provide 1st & 2nd level support depending on the situation, in addition to maintaining IT back-end infrastructure including servers, networking equipment, and firewalls.
Minimum Required Qualifications :
To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess the following required education, certification, skills, experience and / or qualifications. Employees are responsible for obtaining / retaining the most current statutory and administrative rule requirements for their position.
Minimum of a BA / BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or five (5) years of successful experience in a position working with networks and back-end infrastructure systems
Knowledge and applied understanding of a wide range of hardware and software in diverse technology environments.
