Position Overview:
The Lead Clinician will oversee clinical operations at our Brentwood facility, ensuring that clients receive top-tier care for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role involves providing direct client care, supervising clinical staff, facilitating therapy groups, and ensuring compliance with the latest clinical best practices. The Lead Clinician will also focus on client satisfaction, retention, and program innovation by integrating the latest evidence-based modalities into treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs.
Oversee and mentor clinical staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
Develop and monitor treatment plans, ensuring they are goal-oriented and client-focused.
Conduct regular case reviews, providing feedback and guidance to clinicians.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
Facilitate weekly clinical team meetings to discuss case updates, treatment strategies, and team collaboration.
Step in to conduct assessments as needed to ensure timely client admissions.
Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership to implement program enhancements.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and clinical activities.
Stay up to date on industry best practices and implement innovative clinical modalities.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention through quality care and engagement strategies.
Promote a collaborative and team-oriented culture among clinical and support staff.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Current licensure in the state of Tennessee (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in substance use and mental health treatment.
Supervisory experience preferred, with strong leadership and team-building skills.
Expertise in evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment and contribute to ongoing program development.
