Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Truck maintenance and repair, particularly with diesel engines and related systems. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including brake repair and drivetrane systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential problems before they become serious.
- Align components and systems to manufacturer specifications for optimal performance.
- Operate forklifts and cranes as needed to facilitate repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and service performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role focused on vehicle maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, aftertreatment, and electrical wiring.
- Familiarity with tractor-trailer operations and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proficiency in brake repair techniques and general vehicle maintenance practices.
- Valid driver's license; additional certifications related to diesel mechanics are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
