We are looking for a full-time Associate Technical Designer to work with some of the top talent in the lingerie industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the lingerie industry, with a strong understanding of BRA, Tech Packs, and SPECS.
The Associate Bra Technical Designer will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical specifications for bras and supporting the execution of the design aesthetic and fit direction. They will also work closely with other members of the design team to ensure that the final product meets all of the customer's requirements. Job is located in Los Angeles but company will relocate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain technical specifications for bras.
- Communicate with manufacturing partners all garment construction details.
- Work closely with other members of the design team.
- Ensure that the final product meets all of the customer's requirements.
- Take detailed notes in fit sessions, complete technical reports post fitting.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience in the lingerie industry.
- Proven knowledge of pattern, garment construction, basic grading, and vendor/factory communication.
- Strong understanding of BRA, Tech Packs, and SPECS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- College Degree in Apparel Design, Technical Design or Fashion Design
