Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
We have an open position at our East Syracuse office for a CAD Operator with at least 3 years of civil site experience.
What you'll be able to do :
- Work closely with Design Staff to prepare engineering contract drawings (CAD drawings).
- Draft and develop engineering contract documents as directed from engineering mark-up sketches, detailed drawings, and verbal direction.
- Revise / update existing engineering contract drawings as required.
- Use CAD software to determine / calculate project construction item quantities.
- Understand and apply client CAD standards and requirements.
- Manage CAD computer files and understand CAD file interrelationships.
- Assist Design Staff in the use of CAD software, including trouble shooting of CAD issues
