We are searching for a dynamic and tech-forward leader to join the Retirement Strategies – Service Delivery - Go To Market team. This role is crucial in driving Retirement Strategies’ financial performance, customer and financial professional satisfaction, and service excellence culture.
Go To Market is responsible for leading through Product, Technology, and Transformation Initiatives that drive the Purchase Experience forward and creates winning Customer and Employee outcomes. This role blends project and program management with functional expertise spanning initial Viability, Design & Discovery, Implementation, and Post-Launch Monitoring activities.
The ideal candidate will have a clear understanding of the Defined Contribution market, it’s stakeholders, technology solution providers, recordkeepers, and asset managers. Understanding plan Participant needs, behaviors, and expectations is crucial to developing the ideal state Operating Model and bringing tech-forward solutions to market in partnership with key partners. Having a clear perspective on the differing operational, regulatory, technology, partner, and customer nuances in how the DC market operates versus individual annuities.
The current EWA for this position is fully virtual. While this position does not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $118,700.00 to $176,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Accountable for:
- Execution of DC-In Plan Income strategy and service delivery across Operations
- Establish a DC-In Plan Income Operational Support Model in partnership with business accountable executives
- Represent and drive company focus with Key Strategic Partners and Vendors
- Chief internal Operations support owner for identified priorities
- Monitor and Solicit Partner(s) and Participant(s) feedback and driving for successful outcomes
- Participate in Partner(s) RFPs, Term Sheets, Work Orders, and Agreement negotiations.
- Point of contact for sensitive issues / escalations
- Defined Contribution Market Experience: Understands the needs, expectations, and capabilities of Participants, Record Keepers, Asset Managers, and Technology Vendors. Stays abreast of changing regulations, product offerings, technology solutions, and partnerships.
- Program and Project Management: Prior Program and Project Management experience to include Workstream leadership. Follows agile project and process design methodology, develops business updates, and remains connected to initiatives throughout the project’s lifecycle end to end. Acts as Operational Process and System Subject Matter Expert which includes Journey Team collaboration. Plans, monitors and manages internal projects from ideation through completion. Works independently and with management to scope, plan, and manage complex project efforts e.g., multiple project, technology, and business teams.
- Controls Design Thinking: Responsible for Process, Systems, and Controls design and looks beyond how it is done today to how it should be done for maximal results while remaining compliant to regulatory needs.
- Operating Model Design: Leads and coordinates resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and resource management.
- Relationship Management: Develops and fosters strong relationships with stakeholders and partners in the DC market.
- Financial Acumen: Ensures project results meet cost requirements while balancing technical quality, reliability, and schedules.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Deftly navigates multiple internal and external stakeholder needs to ensure a deal is won and the company enters into a partnership to deliver our product solutions to Participants.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with front-line staff, clients, leadership, and key stakeholders. Exhibits strong decision-making and problem resolution skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solving: Critical thinking and decisiveness in managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
- Educational and Professional Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required with Master’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered. Series 6/7, Series 63, Series 26 FINRA Registrations preferred though not required.
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
