The Human Resources (HR) Programs and Services team is responsible for the operations supporting Prudential’s global total rewards programs, payroll, tax, accounting, and talent acquisition. It also provides data management, application management and shared services for HR. A unique opportunity exists within the team for a Manager, Application Management to support the technical administration of Prudential’s Global Payroll program(s). This position will have a primary focus on payroll support of international (non-USA) pay programs but will also support USA-based processes and data as needed.
Based on a hybrid support model of internal and third-party vendors, this role will work closely with teams from Global Payroll Delivery, Global Technology, and Business Operations to deliver end-to-end solutions that support plan requirements, align with regulations, and provide an exceptional user experience. This role will also collaborate with other stakeholders in HR at various levels of the organization, including international business partners.
This role will be a hybrid work arrangement based out of our Newark, NJ location. Virtual locations are also considered.

The salary range for this role is from $118,700.00 to $176,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

What you can expect:
- Within the global HR Support model, this position will serve as the lead for Global Payroll application and data management. This accountability will include partnership with key stakeholders to support, troubleshoot and implement global solutions across multiple ecosystems related to the business process.
- Management of data integrations between vendor and internal systems.
- A fast-paced environment with need for thought ideation and creative solutioning to drive enhancements to the user experience and reduce risk of error in processes related to Global Payroll.
- Relentlessly champion continuous process improvement and simplification; identify and implement opportunities that yield operational efficiencies and / or improve user experience.
- Lead and assist with business analysis efforts for multiple projects and implementations. This includes collecting and documenting business requirements, analyzing impacts and interdependencies of systems/configurations, partnering with technology teams to translate business needs into streamlined system designs, providing quality review of functional specifications, and coordination/execution of user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide analytical support to key stakeholder, such as: reports, metrics, ad hoc analyses, and presentations.
- Identifying, implementing, and enforcing key controls within the business process.
- Supporting the compensation application management team during peak periods, typically during the year-end process (November-March) and to support time off needs.
- Function as trusted advisor to the Global Payroll Delivery team while being an ongoing advocate for the business and function needs.
- Partner with the internal operations team that develops system integration files, providing business requirements and requisite subject matter expertise.
- Address / resolve production issues and related recovery efforts.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Global Payroll programs and processes.
- Strong data savviness with the ability to drive streamlined solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of data integrations with global partners. Experience is preferred.
- Strong business analyst skills and the demonstrated ability to use data insights to drive process improvements, particularly related to systems.
- Critical and creative thinking, with the ability to think broadly and make connections across multiple programs, processes, systems, and domains.
