Job Summary The Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include the following the plan of care providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the members of the team to help meet the patient’s needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop a Plan of Care and interventions for assigned patients are met while working closely with the Interdisciplinary Group, patient, family and attending physician.
- Provides accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care
- Provide comprehensive nursing evaluations and assessments.
- Responsible for the coordination of care for the patient and family.
- Assist the scheduling team to ensure the patient’s care schedule is accurate
Handle emergency patient situations such as hospitalizations and necessary behavioral interventions.
