Sheetmetal Fabricator

PRYER Aerospace is currently seeking an all-purpose metal fabricator to join our team. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Use work cell instructions and router packet contents to perform job.
• Perform deburr/break sharp edge to work parts to industrial standard.
• File, use wire brush, buffing cloth, or pneumatic grinder to deburr or change dimension of part based on customer specifications.
• Polish various alloys utilizing specified abrasives, buffing cloth, or pneumatic grinder to polish the part based on customer specifications.
• Apply abrasive compound, wax, or other dressing to facilitate cleaning or polishing operation.
• Support the company and department business goals and objectives for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Attitude (QCDSA).

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of Deburr Process and/or CNC Machining.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, purchase orders and routers.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools as well as precision measuring instruments.
• Familiar with basic Quality Requirements/ISO Awareness
