Duties
- Operate and monitor plant machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels and equipment performance.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in industrial operations is a plus.
- Previous experience as a plant operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts as required by production schedules.
