Sr. Construction Inspector, Water Wastewater

Position Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Construction Inspector with water/wastewater experience to administer and inspect treatment facilities, collection, and distribution systems.  This position would be based in our Warren, NJ location.  This role could be a full-time or part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of interior and exterior inspections including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, sewer systems and water mains.
• Document existing conditions, create reports and ensure quality control. 
• Inspections might also include buildings and other areas required for our clients.
• Interact directly with clients and contractors to ensure compliance with contract documents and shop drawings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction administration and inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
• Comfortable with computer software, and experience with excel and word.
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills, ability to prepare and write reports in a timely manner.
• Comfortable working around construction site, some estimating of material quantities and financial matters.
• Willing to learn, be trained and earn accreditation.
• Responsive and dependable to meet deadlines and follow scope of project.
• Valid Driver’s license
