Position Summary
We are seeking a Construction Inspector with water/wastewater experience to administer and inspect treatment facilities, collection, and distribution systems. This position would work in our Warren, NJ location. This role could be a full-time or part-time position.
Responsibilities
- Perform various types of interior and exterior inspections including water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, sewer systems and water mains.
- Document existing conditions, create reports and ensure quality control.
- Inspections might also include buildings and other areas required for our clients.
- Interact directly with clients and contractors to ensure compliance with contract documents and shop drawings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction administration and inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations.
- Comfortable with computer software, and experience with excel and word.
- Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills, ability to prepare and write reports in a timely manner.
- Comfortable working around construction site, some estimating of material quantities and financial matters.
- Willing to learn, be trained and earn accreditation.
- Responsive and dependable to meet deadlines and follow scope of project.
- Valid Driver’s license
