Position Summary:
PS Seasoning is seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented Cycle Counter to manage and maintain the accuracy of our inventory records. The ideal candidate will have strong decision-making skills, excellent time management abilities, and the ability to work independently. This position is crucial for ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting the overall supply chain process. You will be responsible for conducting daily inventory counts, analyzing discrepancies, and ensuring inventory processes are followed by the team.
What You’ll Do:
• Conduct daily inventory counts as scheduled to ensure accurate stock levels
• Assess all variations between system and physical counts, investigating discrepancies
• Perform root cause analysis on inventory errors and recommend corrective actions
• Instruct company personnel on inventory accuracy processes and procedures
• Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP, and other quality and safety programs
• Complete ad-hoc inventory tasks as required by management or operational needs
• Record all inventory-related information accurately and update inventory systems as necessary
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
• Assist with periodic full physical inventories and cycle counts as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• 1-3 years of experience in cycle counting, warehousing, or material handling, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to assess inventory discrepancies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
• Forklift certification preferred (required to obtain if hired)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
