This role is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the business unit human resource processes. This position reports to the HR Manager Region and is responsible for strategy execution for their various areas of responsibility and Being a role model / champion for team leadership at it best to the rest of the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling , workforce planning, performance reviews (in line with line manager & business leads) and compensation & benefits review, audit support / recommendations and employee documentation process
- Full ownership of the rollout, implementation and follow up of all HR strategic initiatives including ensuring that KPI for such initiates are met.
- Participate in the EMEA HR team as an active voice for the business ensuring that the perspective has been voiced and looked into prior to any project / process implementation in the region. This includes supporting communication plan and stakeholder engagement
- Guiding BU finance manager and Business Leads inline with the overall regional strategy, on budgeting & maintenance of the human capital cost (salaries, benefits & services) and advising regional HR of possible opportunities cost saving options
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Ownership of employee regulatory compliance / legislation by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. This is not exclusive to the following processes, labour relations, employment status rules
- Acting as a thinking partner & adviser most of the time focused on not just achieving the functional (HR) targets but most importantly, the overall business short; mid & long term targets.
- Ensuing that all processes are updated to reflect the overall regional goals / directs. This is not exclusive to the following; role profiles, employment contracts, termination procedure, leaves processes etc.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in professional organizations focusing on Human Resources and industry related networks.
- Ensuring HR results and targets in respective which includes the matrixed organization / functions
- Timely escalation of issues or ‘grey area ’.
- Payroll & HR administration management
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of Human Resource Experience of which a minimum of 3 years of overseeing an area within the function
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, employment laws.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum of 4 years at a mid – level HR experience including experience and leading a business unit HR process implementation.
