Job title : Deputy Director / Director, VPR Office
Description
NTU (Nanyang Technology University) seeks a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Deputy Director / Director, VPR Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and defining NTU's research strategy, liaising with administrative units to develop and implement research policies, and ensuring resources are available to deliver NTU's research plans.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Master's degree, preferably PhD degree, with R&D background and proven experience in a similar capacity with demonstrated competency in leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, and stakeholder relationship.
In this role, you will work with senior research leadership, providing strategic leadership and operational support in all research matters within the VPR office. You will be responsible for formulation, implementation, and regular review of research policies and procedures, including assessment of the University's overall performance in research initiatives / programmes.
