The responsibilities of this position require promoting and developing business through various manufacturing markets. This includes current accounts, new sales leads and making cold calls with new companies. It requires about 50% travel within about a 300-mile radius of Wichita, KS. Position requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a responsible individual who can be trusted to work within the guidelines set forth by management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong relationship with current accounts by consistently calling on them to meet their current and prospective product needs.
- Be able to recommend new products and introduce our product capabilities for other applications.
- Be able to make recommendations for products that could be used in their applications.
- Provide quotations and follow up with all inquiries that are needed for new sales.
- Understand the manufacturing processes and limitations for all new business.
- Assist management in dealing with applications needed for new and existing customers.
- Close sales for requested quotations.
- Enhance and demonstrate a successful track record for prospecting and closing business in all markets and revenue levels.
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business development, engineering or equivalent.
- Prefer experience in industrial, construction, aircraft markets which include direct sales to these industries. Fabrication is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Work as a team player with management, customer service and external partners in the varying range of markets.
- Strong PC skills. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Pass Drug Test and background check.
- Valid Driver’s License
