Job Summary

This Regulatory Analyst will work on various tasks including Casework DPS reporting, FERC and  Labor Allocation reports, Cash Forecast, Utility Surveys and various other regulatory reports. This position will be involved in assistance with budgeting process, preparation of various ad hoc and variance analysis reports.

Job Responsibilities

  • Update and analyze Labor Allocation, Cash Forecast, FERC, Utility Surveys and various other regulatory reports
  • Maintain compliance with business continuity planning requirements
  • Assist in the monthly revenue and expense analysis, variance explanations and forecasting
  • Collect and provide various documentation and reports to DPS. Schedule and host monthly DPS meetings
  • Participate in preparation of annual budget model components

Job Specific Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
  • Minimum 3 years of Financial Analysis / Accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Microsoft suite proficiency
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management. Strong interpersonal skills
  • Successful candidate must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think from an objective perspective. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to make sound judgments within established policies and procedures as well as challenge current processes in order to achieve greater efficiencies
  • Strong organizational skills and project management skills
  • Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity
  • Must demonstrate and value differences in others’ strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choice

  • Usage of SAP and Hyperion is preferred
  • Experience with the utility and / or highly regulated industries is a plus
