Job Summary
This role requires a licensed electrical engineer with a strong background in nuclear power plant operations and licensing. The ideal candidate will have experience with license renewal services, including studying business cases for proceeding with License Renewal or Subsequent License Renewal, gap analysis, preparing applications, Time Limited Aging Analysis, Aging Management Plan upgrades, and Period of Extended Operation implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reviews of technical documents
- Support the Subsequent License Renewal project for both Hope Creek and Salem Generating Stations
- Assist with the application process
- Update Aging Management Program documents
- Participate in benchmarking activities through industry assessments
- Collaborate with vendor/contractor subject matter experts' personnel, supporting the project
- Coordinate with Corporate and both Stations AMP owners
- Revise procedures implementing the subsequent license renewal application
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a minimum of 10 years of Nuclear Power Plant experience
- Strong understanding of licensing and power plant operations
- Meet Nuclear's requirements for Unescorted Site Access
- Proven project management skills, including Microsoft product usage (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
