Job Overview
PSEG is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Electrical Engineer to support the Subsequent License Renewal Project for both Hope Creek and Salem Generating Stations. As a key member of our Engineering Service Department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in license renewal projects. Your primary focus will be on preparing and reviewing analyses, documentation, assessments, quality reviews, and supporting activities related to the subsequent license renewal project.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform reviews of technical documents and provide input on content and accuracy
• Support the Subsequent License Renewal project for both sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with Corporate and Station teams to develop and implement procedures for license renewal applications
• Participate in benchmarking activities through industry assessments and interface with vendor/contractor subject matter experts
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate efforts to ensure successful project outcomes
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of nuclear power plant experience
• Basic knowledge of licensing and power plant operations, including NRC regulations and guidance
• Must meet Nuclear's requirements for Unescorted Site Access and possess demonstrated project management skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel, Work, and PowerPoint

• Working knowledge of NRC regulations and guidance that apply to licensing and license renewal of nuclear power plants
• Experience with license renewal services, including studying business cases for proceeding with License Renewal (LR) or Subsequent License Renewal (SLR)
• Previous or current SRO certification and PE License
