Essential Functions:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage personnel and daily operation of consumer lending to ensure the team meets lending goals and objectives.
- Participate in formulating and administering credit union consumer lending program and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide for the review of loan applications for conformance to established loan policies, completeness of documentation, accurate preparation, and quality.
- Ensure the credit union’s compliance with laws and regulations governing consumer lending.
- Ensure that policies and procedures are properly administered, and procedures followed. Follow up on corrective action when necessary.
- Implement updates to systems, forms, and procedures when requirements change.
- Coordinate staff training to maintain top competency in the department.
- Evaluate and document employee performance, provide frequent feedback and coaching. Prepare annual performance evaluations.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational training, seminars, and review of business publications.
- Generate reports and conduct analysis to track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making by senior management.
- Collaborate with branches and other departments to ensure alignment of lending activities with overall business objectives and risk management.
- Any other duties or responsibilities, as required or assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
