Responsibilities
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on accounting principles and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Expertise in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior staff members.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP financial systems.
