Our staff is composed of uniquely qualified corrugated box professionals that can help with every step of the custom cardboard packaging process. Our Structure Designers and Graphic Designers are trained to take any product, no matter how fragile or oddly shaped, and custom engineer high quality corrugated boxes to suit our customers' needs.

POSITION SUMMARY

The PSI Group in Williamsport MD, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes and distributor of packaging supplies, is seeking a Production Supervisors to join our team. We currently have full-time vacancies on our first shift. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safe operation of our production facilities.  You will be supervising machine operations and planning the production schedule for our Assembly area and / or multiple machine centers in a busy, fast-paced plant environment.  You will supervise a team of machine operators and assistant machine operators.  Core schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 2:30pm and Friday 5:00am to 9:00am. All positions require the ability to work overtime as necessary. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Supervise all manufacturing activities in accordance with company policies and guidelines with regards to safety, quality and productivity. 
• Ability to manage and develop a team of skilled machine operators and assistant machine operators.  
• Work directly with other department leaders to ensure production needs are met. 
• Demonstrated commitment to customer focus, providing exceptional customer service.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and MOSH safety standards in a manufacturing environment. 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Ability to multi-task and manage several different projects simultaneously.
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Evaluate subordinate performance and provide feedback to enhance work performance.
• Working knowledge of 5S and LEAN Manufacturing.

• Starting pay range is $ 50,000 to $65,000 per year.
