Job Summary:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth within an assigned territory. This role involves traveling to customer sites, prospecting new business, and working closely with internal teams to provide exceptional service and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers in the plastics processing industry.
- Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to customers.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Travel within the territory to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and support business development activities.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, customer service, and marketing, to support customer needs.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or plastics processing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently within the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel frequently within the designated region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of polymer processing equipment is a plus but not required.
