Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator with strong experience in inventory control to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations while ensuring accurate inventory management across warehouses and distribution centers. This role will work closely with warehouse teams, vendors, and internal departments to maintain optimal inventory levels, streamline shipping/receiving processes, and support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy of orders
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Track shipments, manage logistics documentation, and update internal systems accordingly
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure inventory levels meet operational needs
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues, shortages, or overages in a timely manner
- Generate and analyze inventory reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Support process improvement initiatives to optimize logistics and inventory control processes
- Maintain accurate records of product movement, stock adjustments, and returns
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory control
- Proficient with inventory management systems (WMS, ERP, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with shipping carriers, freight processes, and inventory software systems
- Forklift certification or warehouse equipment knowledge a plus
