PSQ Productions is seeking charismatic and motivated Sales Representatives to join our Passport to Savings team at the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona, Ca. This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the country's largest fairs!
The seller position is responsible for selling the Passport to Savings coupon books during all 16 days of the Los Angeles County Fair. This is a part time seasonal position so we are looking for candidates who are available the majority, if not all, 16 days of the fair. This position will be scheduled weekdays, weeknights and weekends (Thurs - Sun). Days off for this position are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
The fair dates are 05/02/2025 - 05/26/2025
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner, acknowledging them upon arrival
- Effectively communicating information regarding the Passport to Savings coupon book, leading to a sale of the book
- Coordinating prizes and giveaways
- Maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, safety, and overall appearance of his/her assigned area
- Collecting payment and providing change in a timely, accurate and courteous manner
- Encouraging guests to Spin the Prize wheel and distribute prize
- Balancing end-of-day paperwork, including cash and credit cards, accurately
- Answering questions about the Passport to Savings and the offers that are inside the book.
- Interacting with other employees in a friendly and professional manner
- Listening, responding to, and resolving guest inquiries, complaints and compliments in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining a level of patience with guests (complaints, lost items, general directions)
- Work outside in a fast-paced and crowded environment
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Sales Experience a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication skills; the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive speaking voice
- Enjoys interacting with customers
- Bilingual a plus, but not required
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Must have reliable transportation to the Del Mar Fairgrounds
- Must have the ability to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work the majority of fair dates and arrive on time
- A background check will be conducted as part of the hiring process
- Starting Pay $16.50 plus commission
