SAP Solutions Architect (Defense & Security)
Hampton, VA
9 month contract

Job Description:

• In this role, the individual will provide expert level business process guidance on Navy s SAP requirements and design as well as SAP configuration and deployment expertise.
• This individual is responsible for designing /configuring business processes in SAP S/4.
• Requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of integration with SAP functional areas especially the SAP D&S, Logistics, IM/WM, and EWM.
• Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments

Requirements:

• Secret Security Clearance (Candidates MUST be clearable, or currently hold an active clearance)
• SAP S/4HANA Certification
• SAP ABAP Certification
• Nine (9) or more years experience in SAP or other ERP equivalent COTS.
• 5 years in multiple disciplines (e.g., FI, FM, CO, SD, AM, EHS, aATP) and post production support experience.
• Thorough knowledge in SAP Infrastructure with emphasis on SAP Basis, Security, Change management, SAP Integration technologies, Development Workbench, Memory management, and Workload management within SAP CCMS.
• Well-versed with SAP Data Dictionary, SAP Solution Manager, Transport management and Oracle physical design for SAP. Knowledgeable with the Client-UX UNIX, Oracle RDBMS and Windows 2000 and 2003 platforms.
• Knowledgeable in Web Infrastructure, SAP Integration Layers and NetWeaver Architecture.
• Experience in SAP Sizing, Workload characterization and Capacity Planning. Strong communication skills both oral and written, with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent teamwork skills, including working with internal and external departments and organizations; Experience with virtual, cross-functional teams with track record of delivering results.
• Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
• Directs and controls activities for customer, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve customer negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.
• Demonstrated experience with financial business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex integrated master schedules including activities across multiple stakeholders and external partners.
• Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
• Demonstrated lead experience.
• Demonstrated ability in the application of functional and technical expertise to improve the performance of the business, resolution of functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• DoD / Navy/Federal experience desired
• SAP S/4 HANA experience
• Local to Hampton Roads, VA
• SAP Certification
• Agile (SAFe) experience
• Shows initiative and goes above and beyond to assist others as needed
