What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Specialist position at PSSC, LLC?
Medical office seeking an experienced credentialing specialists to aid in credentialing and re-credentialing of medical providers and organizations. A minimum of 1 year experience is required.
Duties will include:
- 1 year experience with physician credentialing
- Familiarity with credentialing system (CAQH)
- Communicate with insurance companies to assure provider credentialing and re-credentialing is completed correctly and efficiently
- Complete and submit credentialing application
- Maintain and update credentialing spreadsheets
- Respond to credentialing inquires by clients or management regarding credentialing status
- Ability to adapt to constant change and still meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
