CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements and administers on-going policies, programs, and procedures to foster understanding of and partner with management and supervisors for optimal positive employee relations and retention strategies.
- Responsible for company-wide communications.
- Manages all new employee recruitment, orientation, and training.
- Processes payroll and submits weekly reports.
- Promotes employee engagement and satisfaction through various initiatives.
- Supports workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning.
- Helps coach managers on performance management processes, including performance feedback, calibration, and career transitions.
- Support employee training and development initiatives, including identifying learning needs, designing and delivering programs, and tracking outcomes.
- Performs HR statistical analysis and prepares reports and communicates data and trends.
- Responsible for employee benefit enrollments, questions, or inquiries.
- Other HR related duties, and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 3 years’ relevant experience, preferred.
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
- Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Payroll Database software.
- Possesses specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures, including administration of benefits, compensation, and other programs.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to partner with managers and supervisors.
- Must be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
