PsychiaTreat, a leading provider of mental health care in Nassau County, is seeking a Software Engineer to drive innovation in patient care and operational efficiency. This role is a unique opportunity to develop applications that enhance the patient experience, streamline back-office workflows, and improve mental health accessibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and front desk staff, to build impactful solutions.
What You’ll Do
Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications for patient engagement, provider workflows, and telehealth services.
Work with diverse teams to identify pain points and implement efficient, scalable solutions.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare security standards.
Support and troubleshoot internal tools to improve efficiency across departments.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For :
3 years of software development experience with a strong understanding of modern web and backend technologies.
1 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
2 years of experience in open source frameworks
Proficiency in Linux and experience working in cloud-based or on-prem environments.
Experience with relational databases (SQL), including writing queries to pull and aggregate data efficiently.
Ability to collaborate with non-technical teams, gather requirements, and deliver intuitive solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
Experience in healthcare tech or HIPAA-compliant applications is a plus.
