Job Summary:
The Clinical Assessment Advisor (CAA) is a client-focused role responsible for keeping the PAR name and family of assessments top of mind in the hospital and healthcare community. Focus is on promoting and supporting PAR and distributed products throughout the hospital systems in the U.S. The primary objective is strengthening strategic relationships, introducing PAR’s instruments to potential new clients and growing market share.
The role will provide active support for PAR’s author community and new product launches and may also provide feedback and input to new product ideas and products under development. The CAA will also be encouraged to be an active thought leader in the marketplace and potentially publishing content supporting and informing a wide variety of assessment professionals.
Essential Functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Develop strategic approach to growing clinical assessment markets within a national accounts structure and set annual corporate sales plan within the customer segment.
- Allocation of time to be roughly equal to 60% of time working with customers and prospective customers and 40% working on administrative tasks and presenting.
- Work with the author team is a function of this role, including the PAR by PAR series and the development of additional clinical webinars to support our product launch schedule for 2022.
- Development of author relationships especially supporting our clinical/neuro product releases in 2022.
- Potential involvement with professional organization partnerships such as SPA (Society for Personality Assessment) or others such as ISTSS. (International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies).
- Cultivate relationships with decision makers in key hospital systems, support growth in assessment use and sales by providing education, advice, workshops, and product support and education.
- Arrange and conduct targeted face-to-face, telephone, and webinar meetings and workshops with leads on a periodic basis resulting in national travel requirements. Plan and organize travel itinerary to maximize face-to-face meetings.
- Required to stay abreast of a wide range of assessment-related topics in order to develop quality presentations and workshops for both customers and in-house staff.
- Identifies, recommends, and submits new products and product modification ideas to Research & Development department.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:
- PhD, PsyD, PsyS, EdD or EdS, in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, neuropsychology, or equivalent
- 5 years working within the clinical assessment market segment
- 5 years supporting and/or selling products to this market or equivalent is preferred
- Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of market segment customer preferences
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Must be data-driven; and have the ability to comprehend complex information
- Highly metrics-driven with strong forecasting abilities
- Desire to and experience in support of a high-growth organization
- Must be highly customer-centric and focused
