What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Float Physical Therapist position at PT Solutions Physical Therapy?
PT Solutions is looking for a floating PRN Physical Therapist to join our growing team in the Atlanta area. This PRN Physical Therapist will support clinics in the Buckhead, Brookhaven, Decatur, Emory Point, and Morngingside area. You will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or injuries to restore mobility and function. The role requires flexibility in hours and will help support volume spikes, PTO coverage and parental leave.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment & Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical impairments, pain levels, and functional limitations.
- Develop individual treatment plans based on patients’ specific needs, medical histories, and goals.
Treatment & Intervention:
- Provide physical therapy treatments to restore movement, alleviate pain, and improve patients' overall physical function.
- Implement exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and other therapeutic interventions to achieve the treatment goals.
- Educate patients and families about exercises, safety precautions, and at-home care techniques.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Accurately document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Update patient records in electronic health systems and maintain confidentiality of all medical information.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapy program
- State licensure
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per day
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
Clinic Hours: Monday- Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $45-$55/hr
