Platinum Technologies is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to provide technical advice, software engineering and implementation expertise for the development of web- and desktop-based applications across the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Intelligence Enterprise.
Your ability to work closely with a teammate to solve complex problems as the speed of mission relevance is a highly sought after skill. As the principal software leader, our SOF mission partners count on you to work closely with data management professionals (Analysts, Scientists, and Engineers) to design and implement next generation capabilities.
This role requires an active Top Secret / SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI / Poly clearance. The position is in Fayetteville, NC.
What you get to do.
- Create next generation web-based and desktop applications designed to enhance user interface with tools and capabilities created by the DST.
- Design, prototype, develop, and implement applications using Web programming technologies to include but not limited to : JavaScript, HTML, HTMLS, and CSS. Work with DST Data Analysts, Data Integrators, Data Scientists, and Database Engineers to create, troubleshoot, and recommend appropriate user interface capabilities
- Work with DST members and customers to enhance user experience and implementation requirements.
- Design and architect new software components in Java, C, C , and Python to meet program needs.
- Lead small group of developers via managing day-to-days tasks, assigning deadlines, and leading code reviews.
- Organize / coordinate / lead an agile Scrum team with two-week sprints.
- Key personnel to communicate technical and programmatic issues to management.
- Research, identify, and evaluate new technologies.
- Participate in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis.
- Integrate COTS and GOTS tools, including open source products and API-driven integration efforts
- Build multi-tier software solutions, including database design and integration.
