Contract Quality Manager
We are looking for an experienced Contract Quality Manager to join our team at PTA Corporation.
About Us:
PTA Corporation is a plastic injection molder and tool builder, manufacturing products for the medical device, defense, homeland security, and technology industries, including Fortune 500 OEMs.
Job Description:
- Ensure the effectiveness and compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Supervise and manage Quality Assurance (QA) personnel to maintain operational efficiency and alignment with quality standards.
- Oversee calibration and metrology requirements to ensure equipment accuracy and reliability in quality processes.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues raised by customers and suppliers, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.
- Report to management on the performance and effectiveness of the QMS.
Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and maintain processes needed for the quality management system.
- Assure that parts produced meet customer specifications, and requirements via inspection (incoming, in-process & final) and effective process control and monitoring.
- Represent customers regarding quality of the products produced.
- Facilitate resolution and communicate effective correcting actions for all customer complaints.
- Improve tracking of customer complaints to result in customer satisfaction.
- Enforce all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (ASQ CQE or CMQ/OE).
- Twenty (20) years of experience in a Quality Assurance environment.
- Minimum of ten (10) years supervision of a Quality Assurance department.
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in an injection, molding environment.
