Job Summary: 

Operator is responsible for setting up and drifting/Beveling each piece of pipe, insuring that drift travels the full length of every tube, operator is also responsible for keeping line moving in auto mode.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Constantly monitor for any defects and report them to supervisor or team lead.
• Do daily checks on the drift, and check calibration on all measuring devices, document findings daily and turn in to supervisor.
• Perform any and all checklist as required.
• Direct and assist in roll changes and set ups.
• Assist in minor maintenance repairs.
• Fill out necessary log sheets.
• Turn in required repair lists.
• Keep work area and equipment clean.
• Maintain safe working conditions.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: 

Education: High School or equivalent

Years of Experience:  manufacturing experience is a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: 

Forklift certified, crane certified is a plus
