Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven OEM Outside Sales Representative with a proven track record of successfully engaging with large OEMs through relationship management, problem-solving, and value creation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in guiding opportunities from presales through program management and into successful product launches. This role focuses on penetrating key off-highway and industrial OEMs and Tier supplier accounts, driving long-term, high-volume purchase agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Growth:
- Secure and grow market share with key off-highway and industrial OEMs/Tier suppliers for our applications.
- Develop and execute deals resulting in sustainable and profitable business growth.
- Collaborate with customers, supply base, and internal teams during concept, design, development, production, and delivery phases.
- Advocate for customers internally to ensure high-quality service and maintain trust and loyalty.
- Program Management/Product Launch:
- Create and manage program management processes for technical development activities, including gathering specifications, prints, and requirements from customers.
- Develop technical feasibility plans and oversee qualification and product development efforts.
- Prepare timelines for newly awarded programs, manage milestones, and lead successful product launches.
- Customer Engagement & Sales Execution:
- Manage assigned key accounts or territories, handling day-to-day interactions and escalations.
- Build reliable quotations through internal review processes and present proposals to customers.
- Collaborate with inside sales and cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and close sales opportunities.
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Assist the Sales leadership team in developing and executing long- and short-term sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on customer-specific requirements and processes.
- Combine data analysis and client feedback to optimize solutions and achieve customer objectives.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of sales or program management experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or sales/marketing discipline is preferred.
- Proven success in closing deals with large OEM accounts is highly desirable.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate business cases, assess profitability, and weigh risks for each deal or opportunity.
- Strong background in the tube or steel industry is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client escalations effectively.
- Proficient in managing program timelines, milestones, and resources.
