Reporting to the VP, Augmented Reality Product Management, the SaaS Product Security Strategist will provide strategic leadership and ensure our SaaS offerings are delivered at the forefront of modern software security principles, providing vision and leadership both internal and external to PTC. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with PTC’s Product Management and R&D leadership to develop security requirements in the product planning phase and communicate the product security requirements across product development and delivery groups and drive alignment with other security disciplines throughout the company. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Meet regularly with customers to address security concerns and gain insights into customer security wants and needs
- Work with Vuforia product leadership to develop long term strategy, quarterly, budget, and tactical plans to both reduce overall information and technology security risk and meet customer demands
- Work cross-functionally with the other security disciplines within PTC, including Corporate Compliance and IT Information and Application Security teams to ensure alignment between groups and results according to corporate strategy and product planning objectives
- Work with the product management team to prioritize work that meets near term risk mitigation needs and customer demands while staying aligned with long term strategy
- Represent Vuforia in audit and regulatory inquiries, both internal and external
- Coordinate and lead customer risk assessment activities between sales and engineering
- Collaborate with the PTC SaaS risk and compliance team to deliver a quarterly risk assessment report to the product leadership team
- Facilitate the tracking and reporting of on-going security concerns and mitigation progress
- Collaborate with the PTC SaaS risk and compliance team to design and implement best-in-class security policy & process improvements
- Evangelize and drive forward best in class programs/processes for vulnerability management, incident response, training, testing, and secure coding practices
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of applications, systems and infrastructure, associated risk assessments, and a comprehensive threat model for the PTC SaaS product portfolio
- Provide security reviews of application architecture designs and proposals
- Work with product leadership, corporate communications, sales and marketing to evangelize, both internally and externally, PTC’s over-arching product security strategy
- Monitor compliance with the respective product roadmaps, customer requirements, laws and company policies, as well as the emergence of new threats and vulnerabilities and, assess the impact of and drive responses to any threats and vulnerabilities as appropriate
Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
- Visionary style of thinking, with outstanding analytical skills and thought leadership capabilities;
- Knowledge, experience in and passion for the Augmented Reality, preferably related to industry and industrial control systems combined with SaaS-deployed environments;
- 5 years of experience working with companies on information and data security issues;
- 5 years of experience with Enterprise and/or Cloud based solutions;
- Experience with security threat modeling and risk assessments;
- Experience in development of commercial software products;
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Secure Software Development Lifecycle implementation and execution;
- Appropriate and demonstrated technical knowledge of security standards and controls;
- Extensive experience in information and data security frameworks, compliance certifications and strategic planning;
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline
- The highest standards of business ethics, honesty, and personal integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GovCloud, including ITAR, FedRamp or similar compliance levels
- Experience working in an enterprise SaaS company
- At least one industry security certification (CISSP, CISA, etc

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary. PTC anticipates the Senior Product Manager to start at a minimum annual salary of $150,000. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or payment of any relocation expenses that might be incurred.
