Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a part-time On-Site Dispatcher / Coordinator to join our Shuttle Transportation division. This role involves overseeing shuttle service delivery on-site at service contracts to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Shift :
Part-time : Monday to Friday, 3 : 00 PM to 8 : 00 PM
Position Summary : The On-Site Dispatcher / Coordinator will be responsible for supervising all drivers, buses, and shuttle services on-site to ensure operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the coordination of transportation services to ensure efficient operation.
Assist drivers and passengers with any questions or concerns on-site.
Ensure a safe, positive, and friendly experience for customers.
Communicate effectively with dispatch to report any service delays or disruptions.
Respond promptly to accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents affecting service.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience : At least 1 year of supervisory or dispatch experience, or equivalent management experience.
Skills & Abilities :
Ability to work independently.
Proficient in using push-to-talk devices.
Comfortable using an electronic tablet.
Certificates & Licenses :
Valid driver’s license required.
CDL with Passenger endorsement preferred.
