Job Description
PTMW, an OEM manufacturer, is looking for a full-time, technically skilled candidate to fill the position of Fabrication Programmer. This position will provide additional programming support to the growing fabrication demand.
Essential Responsibilities
Reviewing flat pattern DXF features, tooling profiles and part nest environments.
Responsible for creating and reviewing program nests, in an offline setting. Finalizing program nests to then be provide to CNC machinery for production.
Understanding and following programming schedule as a team member to accomplish goals in a timely manner.
Communicating any design to programming errors/inconsistencies in a manner that leads to a quick and successful outcome.
Addressing nest to machine conflicts/providing nest support for efficiency of CNC machinery.
Critical Skills and Ability:
Working knowledge of sheet metal application and design.
Prior experience w CNC Punch, Laser, and Press Brake operations is strongly preferred.
Prior experience w/ and understanding of nesting software and practices preferred.
Working knowledge of 2D, 3D and unfolding software preferred.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong aptitude for not just learning but also improving upon current processes.

Pay Rate: $22-$25 p/h based on experience.
Schedule: 6am 2pm (8hr/Day Shift)
Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Some overtime, including weekends, may be required.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma
Technical school training in CAD or 2 years experience equivalent.
Proficiency w/ Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
Proficiency w/ MRP/ERP systems.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
