What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Construction Estimator position at PTR Global?
Our Client is a commercial general contractor located in Dillsburg, PA and is actively looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
Candidate must possess the following attributes:
Candidate must possess the following attributes:
- Must have a minimum of 5yrs of experience in commercial general construction estimating.
- Knowledgeable of all commercial trade standard work practices for all 16 Divisions of Construction.
- Knowledgeable of subcontractors within area of work and have good standing relationships with trades.
- Proficient in the following areas:
- Meeting with Owners and or Owners representatives and Architects for Sales and Bid negotiations.
- Excel, Word, and online estimating programs
- Preparing scope of work letters for all 16 Divisions for submission of bids.
- Preparing subcontracts and purchase orders
- Prior in field, hands on work experience a plus
- Should be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
- Must possess proven people skills
- The ability to learn quickly and multi-task

- Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000
- The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K contributions as well as any other PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by appliable state or localities where you reside or work.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
