**Need someone with approx 15 years strong background in software development with technical program management**
We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of engineering projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering projects from planning to execution, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including engineering, product, and operations teams, to define project goals and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, compliance standards, and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and implementing lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and development methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision as well as 401K contributions.
