Accountant/Billing Supervisor

PTS Plumbing is a dynamic and growing organization committed to excellence in financial management and business operations. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant & Billing Supervisor to join our finance team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting key business decisions.

• Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support financial decision-making.
• Oversee and manage company expense reporting and reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and categorization.
• Monitor company spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring budget adherence.

• Oversee the billing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Monitor collections and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures for efficiency.
• Train and supervise billing staff, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Analyze billing trends and provide reports to management.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address payment issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification (preferred but not required).
• 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
