This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records while supporting key business decisions.
- Prepare and examine financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support financial decision-making.
- Oversee and manage company expense reporting and reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and categorization.
- Monitor company spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring budget adherence.
- Oversee the billing cycle, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor collections and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Develop and implement billing policies and procedures for efficiency.
- Train and supervise billing staff, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Analyze billing trends and provide reports to management.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address payment issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification (preferred but not required).
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
