FLSA: Hourly/Non-Exempt
PAY: $20.00 - $21.00/hr
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Team Lead coordinates the daily activities within an electronics department. They are responsible for all inventory and assets (electronic devices) as they relate to their department. They serve as subject matter experts on electronic device processing are responsible for the development and continual improvement of the intake, testing and inventory control of all electronics devices. They provide assistance to the Operations Manager in operations processes and contribute to the attainment of production activities and goals on an hour-to-hour, daily, monthly, and yearly basis. The Team Lead is the paramount exemplary employee in the department, expected to lead by example in production output, process knowledge, and safety practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Job Qualifications:
- High level of inventory organization knowledge and structure.
- Solid understanding of production operations.
- Consistently be a role model of productivity and behavior within the department.
- Can manage a dynamic, ambiguous and fast paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage change.
- Is a team player.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior experience in Inventory Control and/or Asset Management is a big plus.
- Prior departmental line lead experience is a huge plus.
- Experience with testing and diagnostics of a variety of electronics devices.
- Electronics device repair experience is a plus.
- Experience using electronics troubleshooting/process software a plus.

DUTIES: (include but not limited to):
Essential Duties:
- Provides guidance and focus to peers and primary support to supervisor or manager.
- Subject Matter Expert in electronics devices, electronics device testing and department processes.
- Manage the inventory control of assigned department and develop and advise on inventory control best practices
- Accountable for quality and production level for area.
- Provide guidance to team members on processes and production goals.
- Perform basic routine inspections and testing of electronics devices.
- Run diagnostic tests using electronics software and tools. Troubleshoot diagnostic issues.
- Unloading, removing packaging, plugging and unplugging multiple devices to run diagnostic software.
- Cleaning and packaging of electronics devices.
- Serves as focal point for reporting and presenting activities, issues and recommendations to their supervisor, other supervisors, and the Operations Manager.
- Participates in company-wide projects that fall outside the scope of their department – Safety, Kaizen events.
- Able to coordinate complex interdepartmental projects.
- Managing and reporting activities regularly and often.
- Interacts primarily with direct reports and peers.
- Monitor and schedule production in the absence of, or at the direction of the Operations’ Manager.
- May assume and maintain supervisor duties for extended periods of time.
- Train new employees in all job types within the department.
- Able to assist in the process flow from one department to another.
- Can facilitate production goals across multiple departments.

WORKING HOURS: Mon–Fri. 7:00am – 3:30pm with meal break.
Overtime as required to meet production demands
