Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system or cash register.
- Assist with bussing tables as needed to maintain a clean dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Requirements
- Must have or acquire RAMP certification.
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in bartending or restaurant roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as OpenTable is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary skills is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
