Our Investment Talent & Culture (ITC) team is currently seeking two (2) Associate Governmental Program Analysts (AGPA) to perform a variety of complex analytical and administrative duties in support of the ITC business operations and drive our CalPERS mission.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Act as a recruitment analyst for the Investment Office by serving as the main point of contact for Human Resources, hiring managers, and applicants throughout the recruitment process (i.e., job posting, interviews, hire, etc.). Independently prepare and review Duty Statements, job bulletins, and other recruitment related documents. Recommend and provide guidance to hiring managers for desirable qualifications, screening criteria, skills assessments, and interview questions.
- Independently prepare justifications memos and related documentation needed for position transaction requests (i.e., reporting relationship changes, reclassifications, transfers). Assist and provide guidance to requesting manager to ensure appropriate workload justification, proposed Duty Statement, fiscal impact, department identification, and proposed organizational chart is compiled, complete, and accurate for HRSD and Financial Office (FINO) approval.
- Provide coverage for other unit analysts. Assist with special projects to help improve the overall operating efficiency of ITC, including information management, documentation, and investment file controls.
